Piano Lessons

Nov 13th – Dec 18th

 Students looking to get acquainted with piano should look into this class! Similar to the Beginner Guitar Class, the focus is to learn the very basics of how to interact with the piano and learn some basic knowledge about it as well. The students will sign up for a 6-week weekly class. While commitment and sign-up is required, there is no charge for youth to be a part of this program!

Hip Hip Classes

Beginning Nov 14th, but new students are always welcome!

Join us for an energetic and fun-filled hip hop dance program! This afterschool class is perfect for beginners who want to learn the basics of hip hop dance, from foundational moves to rhythm and style. Students will develop their dance skills, boost their confidence, and enjoy the positive vibes of a supportive community. There is no charge for youth to participate in this program!

Guitar Lessons

Nov 12th – Dec 17th

A safe place for students to engage with the acoustic guitar and learn some basics to get a feel for the instrument. The students will sign up for a 6-week weekly class that will equip them with some basic knowledge about the instrument and some of the basic techniques used in playing the acoustic guitar. While commitment and sign-up is required, there is no charge for youth to be a part of this program!

Video Game Tournaments

Calling all middle and high school gamers! Come join us for a fun and social gaming hangout where you can play your favorite video games, meet new friends, and enjoy a safe and welcoming environment. This program is the perfect place to relax and have fun after school. Parents can drop off their teens and pick them up after, knowing they’re in a secure and positive space. Whether you’re a seasoned gamer or just looking for a place to hang out, all middle and highschoolers are welcome!

Past Rec Programs 

Music Camp

A week long day camp where students can learn the basics of music production and open their eyes to the world of recording.

Media Camp

The basics of video production covered over a week of day camp where in the end, they finish the week with a video that they worked on together.

Community Outreach

We often get opportunities to partner with the community in different ways from helping out with the City of Keizer and the Iris Festival, to cleanup, yardwork, repair, and habitat building.
